Low thermal expansion material "LEX-STAR"
Space-compatible! High-performance materials that maintain a low thermal expansion coefficient across a wide temperature range.
"LEX-STAR" is a low thermal expansion material suitable for use in outer space. It maintains a thermal expansion coefficient of 1 (ppm/K) or less from +80°C to -80°C, and a thermal expansion coefficient of 2 (ppm/K) or less from +150°C to -200°C. It contains less than 1% cobalt (Co) and complies with the Specific Chemical Substances Hazard Prevention Regulations. The LEX series offers a diverse lineup of materials to meet varied precision requirements, covering a wide range of thermal expansion characteristics. It is highly regarded not only in the field of ultra-precision instruments but also in areas such as CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic) molds primarily for aircraft, vacuum pump components, laser equipment parts, and more. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
